PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (2015) and a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo at Ribeirão Preto (2012). He was a Lemann Visiting Scholar at the Department of Economics of the University of Illinois (2011).
