Marasmius cantareirensis and M. fuligineo-ochraceus belong to sect. Marasmius subsect. Sicciformes while M. pulberistipitatus is a representative of sect. Globulares. All specimens were collected in the Atlantic Rainforest in Southeastern Brazil.
