Abstract

The use of adatom decorated shape-controlled metal nanoparticles in electrocatalysis, and particularly for energy conversion reactions, has made important contributions to the development of better electrocatalysts. In this short review, we highlight some of the most relevant findings and discuss about future challenges. (AU)
