Abstract
The survey of species belonging to the genus Parmotrema in the Parque Estadual da Cantareira and adjacencies revealed the occurrence of 20 species, 14 of them having an emaculate or irregularly maculate upper cortex. Parmotrema xanthinum is being cited for São Paulo State for the first time.A key for identification, descriptions, comments, and illustrations are provided. (AU)
