Abstract

Machadagrion garbei (Santos, 1961) was only known by the male holotype from Vila Nova, Bahia state, Brazil, and one male from Junqueira, Alagoas state, Brazil, collected in 1963. Over 50 years of its original description we report its rediscovery with specimens collected in Barra do Jacuipe, Camacari County, Bahia state, Brazil, and Serra de Itabaiana, Sergipe state, Brazil. We provide illustrations and diagnosis from both sexes, including the description of the female. (AU)
