| Abstract | |
Infrastructure service providers (InPs) can employ bandwidth sharing to offer new services and business models to their customers. In this paper, we introduce a dynamic bandwidth allocation (DBA) algorithm which allows cooperation among Ethernet PON (EPON) customers so that they can share unused bandwidth among themselves without affecting their guaranteed bandwidth. Simulation results show that our proposal increases the throughput and decreases the delay for cooperative customers. (AU) | |
