Abstract

The behavior of critical inclinations and sun-synchronous orbits of artificial satellites orbiting planetary satellites are analyzed considering, simultaneously, the influence of the harmonics J(2) and C-22, both due to the non-uniform mass distribution of the natural satellite. In the present research, the central bodies of interest are the Moon and two of the Galilean moons: Io and Europa. (AU)
