Abstract

Ag2MoO4/ZnO heterostructures were synthesized by a co-precipitation method in room temperature. XRD studies have showed the formation of the heterostructures containing wurtzite-type structure with hexagonal phase (ZnO) and spinel-type cubic structures (Ag2MoO4). The crystal morphologies and sizes were observed by field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The photocatalytic activities were evaluated by the degradation of rhodamine B (RhB) under ultraviolet light irradiation. (AU)
