Abstract

We investigate a few properties of varieties that admit locally nilpotent radical and we prove that, under certain circumstances, coalgebras of said varieties are locally finite. We apply our findings to show that right alternative Malcev-admissible coalgebras and binary (-1, 1)-coalgebras are locally finite. Our results are motivated by a conjecture formulated by I.
