Abstract

Abstract: The aim of the article is to show the trajectory of women's insertion in Peruvian archaeology, and the development of feminist and gender archaeology in Peru. The influence of Peruvian feminist movements was crucial to open up the discipline to the entrancy of women in archaeological work. Despite this, there are a lot of challenges faced by the women in the Peruvian archaeology, and the sub-areas of feminism and gender still front resistance in the discipline. (AU)
