Abstract

A 5 to 11 GHz ultra-wideband radar is presented to visualize human presence behind walls, following indoor measurements. The raw backscattered data is analyzed using two different techniques to identify human movement, one based in subtraction and other using Moving Target Indicator filtering. The radar was found to be sensitive enough to detect human movements behind a wall, in three different indoor scenarios. Signal to noise ratio analyzes are implemented to evaluate the generated image after the processing. (AU)
