Abstract

This work proposes an easy-to-implement Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer receiver based on intermodulated signals. Operating at 915 MHz ISM band, it starts from the standalone Energy Harvesting (EH) design thus, developing an Information Decoding (ID) block for rectifying only the intermodulation components. Simulations demonstrated a good agreement of the ID performance with the BFSK-IM modulation for input powers above -20 dBm, and the ID block could have minimal impact on the EH performance. (AU)
