Abstract

This paper is concerned with the existence of homoclinic orbits of multi-bump type in the second order Hamiltonian system with superquadratic potential q - L(t)q + W(q)(q) = 0, t is an element of R, where q = (q(1,) ..., q(N)) is an element of R(N), W is an element of C(1) (R(N), R) and L(t) is an element of C (R, R(N2)) is a symmetric matrix for all t.
