Abstract
Cyclopogon carinianus, a new orchid species native to seasonal semideciduous forests in the State of So Paulo, Brazil, is described and illustrated. The relationship of C. carinianus to other taxa of the genus is discussed, and comments on their geographical distribution, ecology, and conservation status are provided. (AU)
