Abstract

Diploschema Thomson, 1858 and its species are redescribed. Five species are recognized, of which D.weyrauchi Lane, 1966 is reinstated and two synonimies are proposed: D.brunnea Martins & Monné, 1980 = D. maculata Martins & Monné, 1980 and D.klagesi Lane, 1966 = D.mandibulare Fuchs, 1964. Lophoschema gen. nov. is described to alocate Diploschemaguayapa Di Iorio, 2003. Key to identification, illustrations and distribution map of the species are provided. (AU)
