Abstract

The traumas represent a public health problem worldwide, including in Brazil, generating a strong impact on morbidity and mortality of the population, particularly the economically active age group. The municipality of São José dos Campos is located 100 kilometers from the city of São Paulo. Has a population of about habitantes6 and 629,921 has the 8th GDP of the State of São Paulo in Brazil. It is the principal city of the region of the Paraíba Valley that is crossed by the via Dutra, one of the most important highways of the country, responsible for the link between two national metropolises, São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. There are few studies on bacteremia by multidrug resistant bacteria (Carbpanem-resistant Enterobacteria, P. aeruginosa, A. baumannii, Methicillin-resistant S. aureus and Vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus sp.) in trauma patients. A cohort study with clinical and epidemiological data analysis of inpatients in three intensive care units at the Hospital Municipal de São José dos Campos during the period from May 01 to 01 may 2017 -2019 will be held. A microbiological study will be perform on the gram-negative isolates resistant to carbapenems or colistin and clinical samples of the MRSA inpatients in the same service during the period from May 01 to May 1 2017 2019. The data will be scanned in EPI INFO 7 database in your version 7.1.2 and descriptive analysis will be made of the characteristics of the isolates and clinical variables. The multivariate logistic regression will be used to detect independent risk factors for multidrug resistant bacteria infection in patients with trauma. (AU)
