Abstract

This project refers to the application of the technical reserve for Institutional Research Infrastructure - 2018 to ICMC/USP, in order to properly support researchers and post-graduate students of the thirty-two research groups in the fields of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing.The proposal approved by the ICMC Congregation aims to contribute to adequating the research infrastructure at ICMC, with increased performance and access to the computer network and the wireless networks; with the modernization of the air conditioning of the Research Laboratories, precisely for Blocks ICMC-1 and ICMC-6, where most of the research laboratories are installed and with the adaptation of the Laboratory spaces of the ICMC-6 Block, due to the availability of a new area with the completion of the Research Wing of Block ICMC-3.Such investments are essential to ensure the correct preservation of research support equipment and adequate working conditions for researchers.
