Abstract

The present study aims to verify the perception of undergraduate students from the pedagogy course about the role of activities used in early childhood education institutions - routine activities (hygiene, eating habits and clothing), toys, playground, and music - and their relation to the integral development stimulation in children aging from 0 to 18 months old. A prospective, analytic and observational study will take place among undergraduate students from pedagogy courses, attending in Universidade Estadual Paulista (university campuses in Araraquara, Rio Claro, Bauru, Marília, Presidente Prudente, São José do Rio Preto), the selected students should agree to participate in the research and sign the free and informed consent. The data gathering will employ a questionnaire - Atividades e Recursos Pedagógicos - with both open questions (dissertations) and closed questions (multiple choice) separated in seven topics: data about professional formation for the nursery; activities with toys; activities with playground equipment; music relate activities and daily life activities, complemented with questions about eating habits, hygiene and clothing. The research group will send an invitational email for the participants with a link to the questionnaire, available in Google Drive platform. The data from the research will then be used in descriptive and content analysis. Our research project will supply knowledge in the Education field, especially in the areas of teachers' training and organizing pedagogic activities, with support of Occupational Therapy, which will contribute with significant content for the improvement of teachers in early childhood education.
