Abstract

The main objective of this project is to develop a new application for creating comic books at physical education classes, up to junior high school, aimed at education for leisure. The last years of Junior High are the worst in terms of school dropouts in Brazil at present. During physical education classes, among the students from basic education, many of them do not take part in classes for various reasons: methodology, teaching practices and curriculum can cause exclusion and dropping out of proposed activities. Therefore, the use of technological resources for creating comic books in Physical Education classes can enable students access to knowledge, aimed at education for leisure, and in this way be a solution to improving the learning process at both elementary and junior high schools. Bibliographic and field researches will be used as methodological procedures. The field research will be based on pedagogical experiments in the city of Piracicaba/SP. The research is qualitative.
