Abstract

The two groups will combine their expertise to understand the sodium channel in insect physiology with the aim to develop novel green pesticides. The Chinese group is specialized in structural biology and biophysical techniques to characterize protein interactions, while the Brazilian group has extensive experience in electrophysiology and image analysis. The exchange activities will facilitate the collaboration between the two groups and equip the students with diverse skills. (AU)
