Abstract

Over time, many have been the technological changes by which manufacturing engineering has come to adapt to the specific demands of each era within what are called "industrial revolutions". In this scenario, manufacturing can be considered to be in the era of intelligent manufacturing, where processing, information and communication technologies seek to improve the performance of manufacturing processes through the use of monitoring and control systems. However, in the manufacturing area, mainly in Brazil, CNC machines still lack systems and sensors to aid the process with national development and technology. The present project proposes the development of a sensor for the reference of parts in CNC machining centers, of the type probe touch trigger to be produced with national technology. (AU)
