Abstract

I intend, with this project, a biographical reflection, with particular reference to Kwahã, central figure for the memory and the current constitution of the Tenharim indigenous people of the Marmelos' river. In addition to reflecting on the biographical theme among indigenous contexts, I also intend to organize, systematize and scanning of my research collection of the etnographical datas for posterior return for the Tenharim indigenous people. The choice to the focus on research in Kwahã is because he was an intellectual and also to a return of records, mostly made by me as an anthropologist, from the narratives and chants of Kwahã, as the main interlocutor of the my ethnography. Thus, my political commitment is coupled with my reflection, as there is a growing interest in the debate on ethnobiography. Furthermore to a focus on the intelectual trajectory, I intend to follow the constitutive relation of its role as leadership with the existence of the Tenharim as an indigenous people. (AU)
