Abstract

The invited researcher will have an intense agenda with the academic groups "Laboratory of Guarani Archeology and Landscape Studies" and "Ruralities, Habitat e Citizenship", in addition to the team of the Regional Archeology Museum (MAR), all of FCT/Unesp. Daily meetings with the members of these groups are scheduled to discuss the cultural landscape notion, instrumented in research on the dynamics of archaeological sites (lithic and tupi-guarani, itararé and aratu traditions, presents in the State of São Paulo) and built and non-material heritages (acknowledged or in process, that characterize the traditional regional culture). The "integrated management of territory" will be debated from the recognition and appreciation of cultural landscapes. There are about 20 projects that will be enriched by this debate, as well as the setting up of a timetable for the traineeships of FCT/Unesp researchers at the Polytechnic Institute of Tomar (POR), in order to research the experience of studying and managing cultural landscapes in the region of the Middle Tagus. The round table "Perspectives, emergencies and challenges for the management of cultural heritage today" completes this marathon, with the presence of researchers from São Paulo (USP) and Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) States. The guest, within the projects under execution at the LAG, will be carrying out fieldwork in the municipalities of Narandiba and Iepê, to collaborate in the recognition and analysis of elements of the landscape and the heritage management. Three working sessions are scheduled for evaluation of the international research project, bringing together teams from FCT/Unesp and IPT/Portugal. Taking advantage of the presence of the researcher, a seminar is also scheduled in the Postgraduate Course in Geography (in the activity "Doctoral Seminars"), part of the "PRINT" (Internationalization Program of Postgraduate Program of UNESP), entitled "Dynamics of Cultural Landscapes and Management "- DYCLAM - same name of the Post-Graduate Course that the guest coordinates at IPT/POR, in cooperation with the Erasmus Mundus Program. Finally, the guest is expected to participate in an administrative activity, which is the reopening of the Regional Archeology Museum (MAR) of the FCT / Unesp, an important space for research and extension of the Unesp Campus of Presidente Prudente.
