Abstract

The system for photoelectrochemical measurements can investigate the photoelectrochemical properties of solar cells and electrodes containing photocatalysts. The equipment comprises a potentiostat/galvanostat with an integrated LED driver, a sensor and a set of LEDs. The available measurements include determination of current-potential curves (determination of short-circuit current, open circuit potential, overall efficiency), IPCE-quantum efficiency, and frequency /time domains techniques including electrochemical Impedance, intensity modulated photovoltage (or photocurrent) spectroscopy (EIS, IMVS, IMPS) and photovoltage decay.
