Abstract

With the treatment of urban sewage a large volume of mud is generated and one of the destinations that has been given to it is the use in the agricultural soils. The use of sewage sludge as an organic fertilizer is a safe alternative for the final disposal of this waste. The objective of this project is to evaluate the effect of the application of different doses of sewage sludge compound on the physical attributes of a clayey Oxisol under rice and bean crops in different agricultural crops. An experiment will be installed in field conditions, in Selvíria-MS, having as summer crop the rice followed by the beans in the safrinha, in the agricultural years of 2017/2018 and 2018/2019. The experimental design used will be in randomized blocks, with four replications. The treatments will originate from a 4 x 1 + 1 factorial scheme, being: four doses of CLE (5.0, 7.5, 10.0 and 12.5 t ha-1), a mode of application (between the lines of the cultures ) and a control treatment (without application of the compound). The soil attributes will be analyzed through three depths (0,00 to 0,05 m; 0,05 to 0,10 m; 0,10 to 0,20 m) for soil density (DS) (PM), weighted average diameter (WMD), Aggregate Stability Index (IEA), optimum water range (IHO), retention curve soil water, accumulated infiltration of water, organic matter (OM), organic carbon (CO) and organic carbon stock (EstC). For each attribute of the studied soil, the classic descriptive analysis will be carried out with the help of statistical software SAS 9.4 (2016). The factorial analysis will also be performed to compare the treatments. (AU)
