Abstract

This project refers to the application of the technical reserve for Institutional Research Infrastructure - Exercise 2019 to ICMC/USP, in order to properly support researchers and post-graduate students of the thirty-two research groups in the fields of Mathematics, Statistics and Computing.The proposal approved by the ICMC Congregation aims to contribute to adequate the research infrastructure at ICMC, with increased performance and access to the computer network and the wireless networks and also with the modernization and strengthening of the safety of Research Laboratories, specifically, precisely for Blocks ICMC-1 and ICMC-6, where most of the research laboratories that have increased physical space due to the availability of a new area with the completion of the Block Research Wing ICMC-3.Such investments are essential to ensure the correct preservation and safety of the people and the research support equipment and adequate working conditions for researchers.
