Abstract

The Faculty of Medical Sciences (FCM) of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) is a teaching and research unit consisting of undergraduate courses in Medicine and Speech Therapy, Medical Residency and Postgraduate Programs. Its annual scientific production has been among the best colleges in Latin America. In 2018, for example, there were 141 doctoral and 149 master's defenses and 773 scientific articles were published in refereed journals. This production is based on the activity of 100 laboratories, where clinical and translational research protocols are developed, as well as animal and cellular models.The present plan therefore aims to maintain and improve the working conditions of these laboratories to reach even higher levels in the international scientific community.
