Abstract

The research aims to examine the impacts of recent transformations in the occupational composition of Brazilian workers. These changes are a result, in one hand,of the new requirements demanded by the present productive and organizational processes, and in the other hand, of the economic conjuncture policies aiming to stabilization, which limit the opportunities of new jobs in the formal labor market, increasing the number of works in informal activities. The impacts of these transformations are showed by the composition and evolution of the occupational participations of workers in the several sectors and situations of labor contracts. Theoretical analysis and empirical evaluations of special tables from annual national researches of IBGE and of the Labor Department. (AU)
