Abstract

This bilateral collaborative project between the State University of Campinas / Brazil and the Playa Ancha University, Valparaíso / Chile, starts from a research problem that asks how artistic productions of literature, theater and cinema, created in both countries, during the period between 1990 and 2010, generate differentiations and singularities in the sociocultural imaginary. The historical cutback is justified by the new representational landscape that founded the arts, mainly in their correlation with the technologies. In order to do so, it aims to establish a dialogue about the configuration of imaginaries and productions of images in narrative, theater and cinema in both countries, resulting in the organization of an inventory, its systematization and search for answers based on differences and diversities as an analytical axis. The exchange and collaboration network are fundamental and structuring for the joint research, with activities of discussion, deepening and production of collective knowledge, as well as the formation of a multidisciplinary research team.
