Abstract

The multidisciplinary auditorium offers all its users the necessary support to perform multiple didactic activities such as classes, seminar presentations, multidisciplinary meetings, and events as workshops, conferences and lectures. It is an important resource for the regular activities of our stricto sensu and lato sensu graduate programs. Envisioned to cater to Pio XII Foundation members, the auditorium has a space that can accommodate up to 60 people simultaneously. Despite being able to serve the more than three thousand employees of the complex, the largest users are linked to the academic context, being medical residents and multiprofessional staff, professionals in improvement; graduate students of stricto and lacto sense and at undergraduate level, scientific initiation. Understood as a space for the acquisition of knowledge, the auditorium requires an update of its attributes, regarding its space and equipment, seeking to improve the quality offered and expanding possibilities such as quality recordings and real time transmissions. These are pressing needs of our contemporary world, as well as the multiple external collaborations and the size and spread of our institution throughout Brazil. We believe that the technological and infrastructure improvements proposed to our auditorium will enable us to use them to an extent that will far exceed the limit of 72 available places. (AU)
