Abstract
In this project a universal calibration strategy will be proposed focusing solid samples analysis by laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy (LIBS). Several univariate and multivariate calibration proposals will be tested for food, electronic waste and sugarcane samples direct analysis. The elements that will be determined are toxic and essentials. A research team composed of chemistries, mathematician and physics, as well as, master and PhD students will work together in order to apply artificial neural network, calibration free and data fusion. Parallel factor analysis (PARAFAC) will be used for data processing and removal of possible spectral interference. (AU)
