Abstract

This three-month work plan for the visiting professor Dr. Lopes de Oliveira at IAG / USP has the following main goals (i) to contribute for maximizing the scientific community's exploration potential of the astronomical observations conducted by the Southern Photometric Local Universe survey project (S-PLUS) by building a catalog of Halpha sources, and (ii) establishing a pilot project to identify X-ray loud binary stars associated with Halpha emission, exploring the public XMM-Newton satellite catalog and database.
