Abstract

This project proposes the development of a platform that assists in an innovative process for the design, execution and management of multifunctional landscapes based on information modeling technology, based on data parameterization. Mariposa is proposed as an integrator of design data capable of simulating projected landscapes, in order to assist in the compatibility of natural and built elements in meeting functional, social and economic demands. To structure Mariposa, a set of design parameters will be defined, characterized by their diversity, adaptation and responsiveness. By including different parameters, it is possible to propose innumerable variations for the model, in order to objectify different solutions and evaluate its degree of response and adaptation and, therefore, of its intelligence, here understood as the ability of the system to adapt to the new conditions offered by the project. Mariposa will generate several alternatives for Multifunctional Landscape Design, such as those that incorporate elements of green infrastructure with Nature-Based Solutions - both for basin revitalization plans, as well as for new real estate projects, housing projects, creation of calm transit zones and all the myriad of requalification of open spaces, from the scale of the lot to that of urban sectors that the evolution of cities is demanding. The research project proposes the assembly of a beta of a plugin to test the viability of the platform. The main expected challenges are those involved in the design and assembly of the beta version, as well as in the choice of parameters that best equalize the needs of a multifunctional landscape project, such as a green infrastructure. The team of this research project has extensive experience in green infrastructure, landscape projects and urban infrastructure, developing innovative works related to the optimization of these systems, having participated in plans and projects since 2005 in this area. We are the pioneers of the concept of green infrastructure in the country, as evidenced by publications made in magazines and books, in addition to the introduction of Mariposa. The future Guajava Landscapes Urban company will be incubated at the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology (CIETEC) and at INOVA USP. (AU)
