Improvement of HU-USP IT equipment set used for research infrastructure

Abstract

The purpose of this proposal is to allocate the resources from the 2019 FAPESP Institutional Technical Reserve to the University Hospital of the University of São Paulo. In order to collectively benefit the researchers, a total of R$ 26,987.17 will be used to increase the storage capacity of the servers and improve the data security structure. The following equipment will be purchased: (a) one HPE MSL LTO-6 UltrIUM 6250 FC Drive Kit Backup Drive; (b) two J9F49A HPE MSA 1.8TB 12G SAS 10K 2.5in 512e HDD drives. This proposal is in line with the strategic objective of improving the IT infrastructure for research within the institution. (AU)
