The first, planned to be developed in two years, aims to property organize a set of documents into an electronic data set. These documents has been saved in the Memorial do Imigrante - São Paulo, into a common file. This comprises about 500,000 immigration arrival records. The second phase consists of separate analysis of this file of documents. These analyses will help deepening some unexplored aspects of the historiography of the period. (AU)
