Enaction: São Paulo State innovation hub

Abstract

This project aims at studying the management of innovation networks and the development of a support platform for bringing São Paulo´s ICTs (science and technology institutes) closer to the productive, public and civil sectors. For this, it is intended to map the existing mechanisms for technological transfer in São Paulo research institutions; diagnose the potential for creating a common platform to display scientific knowledge; prospect companies interested in collaborating as partners in this initiative; identify the tools and communication channels considered desirable by the actors of the São Paulo CTI system; design based on the results of the previous steps, the basic principles and operating model of a São Paulo Innovation Platform; create such a prototype in collaboration with selected institutions; and evaluate artificial intelligence, big data and machine learning tools, which can increase the platform's functionality. Best practices for managing innovation networks and platform requirements will be explored through a qualitative study with stakeholders involved in an innovation ecosystem, using the framework analysis technique. The research subjects in this phase will also serve as beta-testers for the development of the platform. After the launch, and the adhesion of a larger number of users, an evaluative questionnaire will be applied, with descriptive statistical results determined in a cluster analysis, and a usability evaluation using the Post-Study System Usability Questionnaire (PSSUQ) methodology (AU)
