Abstract
The macro and micro fauna of invertebrates present in the intracratonic basins of Paraná and Parnaíba are relatively well studied and documented in the literature in general, on the other hand, in the Parecis and Alto Tapajós basins, paleofaunistic studies are extremely poor. Recent work shows that during the end of the Eifelian to the Frasnian (Middle-Upper Devonian), from global climatic changes and sea level variations, possible communications occurred between Brazilian paleozoic basins, facilitating migratory routes of at least crinoids and trilobites in several ways. The present research is based on the hypothesis that dispersion routes existed between the mentioned basins, which facilitate biotic exchanges between the marine paleoinvertebrates of those basins. To prove these routes, the fossils collected on the northwestern edge of the Paraná Basin, southeast of the Parecis Basin, southeast of the Parnaíba Basin, and the first paleofaunistic works in the Alto Tapajós Basin, will undergo taxonomic analyzes in order to identify correctly the organisms, finding paleobiogeographic patterns between these organisms and the faunas of the studied basins and with other basins of Gondwana.
