Non-invasive morphological evaluation and systemic inflammatory markers behavior in experimental model at tracheal stenosis

Abstract

Post-intubation tracheal stenosis is an inflammatory disease of the central airway with high prevalence. Its late diagnosis results from the clinical signs such as dyspnea that can only be detectable after a e70% reduction in the diameter of the tracheal lumen by the stenosis. The present study focuses on non-invasive methods for early detection of the stenosis in an experimental model of induced tracheal stenosis. (AU)
