Abstract

This project aims to use the techniques of nuclear magnetic resonance, echocardiography and nuclear medicine to study the function and metabolism of the cardiac muscle in normal conditions and in illness. Cutting edge technology will be used in the computational and instrumental aspects. Principally a technique of spectroscopy via R.M. will be developed, in order to adapt it to the goals of the project. This concerns a project involving different units of InCor, with the collaboration of the IFQSC-USP. (AU)
