Abstract

Among the grain-producing crops, rice, cowpea and common beans are noteworthy for being used directly in the population's food and corn for being of great importance in animal feed. The interaction of methods such as crop diversification, green manure and the use of good cultural practices, including the use of beneficial microorganisms, can increase the productivity of these crops, contribute environmentally and economically to the adoption of more sustainable agricultural production systems. Thus, the project will be developed during the agricultural years from 2022/23 to 2023/24 in an experimental area of the Teaching and Research Farm belonging to the Engineering Faculty of Ilha Solteira - UNESP, located in Selvíria - MS. The soil of the place is of the type Dark-Red Latosol epi-eutrophic alic, clayey texture, originally under savanna vegetation. The average annual precipitation is 1370 mm, the average annual temperature is 23.5ºC and the average annual relative humidity is between 60 and 80%. The project consists of four subprojects involving the crops of corn, cowpea, rice and common beans. The objective will be to study the effect of vegetation cover, crop consortium and management of inoculation of beneficial microorganisms (Rhizobium tropici, Bradyrhizobium sp and Azospirillum brasilense) in a no-tillage system already consolidated in the development and production of these crops.
