Abstract

We propose to search beyond the standard model signals in neutrino experiments associated with non-standard neutrino interactions (NSI). Based on a recent proposal to parameterize the NSI in terms of Wilson coefficients of effective field theories, we want to check the predictions of specific BSM models in neutrino experiments. In particular, we will review the change in neutrino production associated with BSM models with new heavy mediators and the possible production of other lighter states like dark photons. In addition, the photon detection system in experiments like DUNE needs to be improved to reach enough sensitivity. Therefore, a very important contribution of this collaboration is the joint study of improvement in the photon detection system by Colombian and Brazilian researchers. (AU)
