Abstract

Data become more and more relevant artifacts in the daily lives of people and companies. In the medical context, there is a great urgency to capture data accurately and intuitively to generate structured and quality data. The relevance of these data is of great potential for applications in clinical and pharmaceutical research, decision-making in medical management, etc. Precision Data is a company specialized in capturing and refining clinical data. There is a need to design interactive systems that support the cycle of generating and processing clinical data. To this end, we aim to study, apply and conduct design methodologies that allow for solutions that make sense to stakeholders. This project aims to study and design interactive applications for authoring clinical data. We will conduct a methodology for the investigation, conception and materialization of design proposals in the construction of a system to support the structured capturing of data in patient care. The expected solution has the potential to support medical professionals in the organized reporting of clinical information. (AU)
