Abstract

Effectiveness, equity and social cohesion are challenges to school education. The learning rates of Brazilian students in national and international evaluations, as well as the rates of violence in schools, denounce the difficult situation in the country and the need for research to help overcome this situation. From the perspective of evidence-based educational actions, the object of this research is the implementation of Successful Educational Actions in three Brazilian schools, one in early childhood education, one full time from 1st to 6th grade, and one from kindergarten to 6th grade. Year, and one from kindergarten to 6th. year of elementary school. AEE are activities that generate the highest and best results, both in student learning and in school life. They are related to reading practices, classroom organization, family participation in schools, training of family members, extension of study time, conflict prevention and resolution models, and continued teacher training, all articulated by the concept of Dialogical Learning. The research will involve training and accompanying teachers and managers in seven Successful Educational Actions, to be implemented all at the same time in the three schools. The research aims to analyze transforming and excluding elements of the SEA in each school unit, outlining characteristics for its sustainability as an adopted practice. Data collection will be carried out with teachers, managers, families and students, using a questionnaire, semi-structured interviews, focus groups and observation, all from a communicative perspective. The data will be organized and analyzed firsthand by the research team, debated with a panel of experts, and agreed upon with the different groups of participants. Recommendations will be produced for teachers, managers, and education policy. (AU)
