Abstract

The current research aims to investigate the dreams of USP immigrant students, analyzing the relation between dreams and university life, mental health and the sociopolitical context in Brazil during a pandemic. This study will carry out group meetings with USP immigrant students to listen to their dreams. The goal of this research is to construct a clinical-political device within USP, in order to generate data and indicators that serve as subsidies for programs, projects and activities focused on mental health of immigrant students, composing one of the work fronts of the Pro-Rectory of graduation of Diversity and Inclusion at USP. Moreover, this research contributes to USP's university institutional policies to promote health of the student population, its purpose is to increment to the academic debate about dreams, politics, migration, mental health and university life from the perspective of Psychoanalysis.
