Abstract
In recent years, the development of technologies that act autonomously has been growing rampantly within the automotive industry and smart cities, these innovations are mostly produced in developed countries, by large companies in the industry, while Brazil, although it has been growing gradually, still needs this constant technological evolution and the optimization of processes that have the potential to ensure greater quantity and productive quality in less time and at lower costs. Advanced technologies, such as robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence, are already a reality that is being developed on a larger and larger scale and that can be implemented in various sectors of the industry. In this sense, Vixsystem has been developing since 2014, the Lysa Robot Guide, which is an autonomous robotic platform focused on guiding and bringing safety in the locomotion of visually impaired people. Having in mind the social inclusion of people with visual impairment, it was developed a project with functions similar to those of a guide dog - the Lysa robot -, under the prism of the technological innovations and the Orientation and Mobility (OM) techniques, aiming at acting as a resource or technical aid of assistive technology. The equipment aims at helping the visual impaired in their locomotion, eliminating accident risks, bringing comfort and safety, providing new accessibility resources, through the use of GPS, the study of obstacles in several angles and the auditory communication with the impaired, with the defined analysis parameters. However, for the project to be successful, many obstacles still need to be overcome. The main goal of this project is to develop a web platform for autonomous navigation that encompasses and simplifies all the processes involved, whether in mapping the environment, visualization, robot control, and other configurations, thus presenting simple usability and making it possible to work with different autonomous robotic systems. Finally, based on the understanding that the aforementioned platform for autonomous navigation of robots is the main source of their autonomy, we started a specific work to improve a global platform, which can be easily programmed and used by several companies that operate in this scope focused on automation, either in industry or in the development of intelligent cities, where we can act in the model of intelligent robotics. Smart cities, where we can act in the B2B and B2G model, being able to identify and map a route previously selected by them, so that their autonomous mobility products are easily implemented with our innovation, bringing more speed to the development process of their robots and their respective functionalities.
