Abstract

Considering the resources allocated through the Technical Reserve portion for Institutional Infrastructure costs for research base year 2022 and fiscal year 2023, and after surveying the current demands, :- The Administration, in line with the Biosafety rules and guidelines of the Ethics Committee involving Human Beings, with regard to the privacy of clinical research participants, set up a clinic, with the installation of dental offices, to meet these research activities. Through RTI - fiscal year 2021-base year 20220- FAPESP Process nº 2021/13393-7, the vacuum system that serves this clinic was repaired (acquisition of a tank), to be coupled to the vacuum pump, however, recently it presented a crack in its mechanical seal and its replacement is inevitable so that the set can work perfectly. In addition, the care of research participants who use the Research Clinic, in addition to the adequate infrastructure, some equipment is necessary to carry out the activities and in this opportunity another demand is the acquisition of photopolymerizers that will be used in almost all the procedures carried out in dental office, being responsible for transforming the monomer into polymer and helping in the hardening of the material and its fixation to the tooth. The equipment will be used in research projects in the areas of Dentistry, Aesthetics, Orthodontics and Prosthesis (AU)
