Abstract

In this plan, we detail the activities to be developed by Prof. Giovany de Jesus Malcher Figueiredo, during his visit to the Department of Mathematics and Computing at FCT - Unesp. Among other activities, Prof. Giovany will collaborate with research projects being developed by Prof. Marcos Tadeu de Oliveira Pimenta, as well as developing his own project, involving Schrödinger equations with magnetic potential and problems involving mean curvature operators and the 1-Laplacian. The visiting professor will also participate as a co-advisor of some doctoral theses under the supervision of Prof. Marcos, as well as teaching two or three disciplines in the PPG in Applied and Computational Mathematics at Unesp. Finally, the visiting professor will take advantage of his stay in the state of São Paulo, to make short visits to other universities in São Paulo, in order to maximize the benefits of his visit. (AU)
