Abstract

This proposal fits in the area of Inverse Problems, field of study of Applied Mathematics. In the present investigation proposal, we aim to establish new mathematical results regarding the identification of vibration sources in elastic media, such as metallic structures, combinations of structural components and metallic structures submerged in aquatic environments. It is assumed that the problem is located at $[0,+\infty[ \times \overline{\Omega}\subset \R\times \R^3$, and that fonts generate a displacement field. For several situations, it is intended to demonstrate that given an open space $\omega\subset\Omega$, there is a time interval $[0,T_0]\subset \R$ such that the observation of the field of displacements in $ [0,T[\times \omega$ allow unique identification of vibration and noise sources.
