Abstract

The objectives of these studies will be to evaluate the effectiveness of an experimental solution (ExSo), with nonpolar and polar solvents, compared to distilled water, 95% ethanol, 99% acetone and amyl acetate for residues removal of the epoxy resin (AH Plus Jet ) or bioceramic (BioRoot RCS) cements from coronal dentin ou fiber space post and its effects on the adhesion interface between the etch-and-rinse (Adper Scotchbond) or Universal (Scotchbond Universal Plus) adhesive systems and coronal dentin or between resinous cementation fiber post systems, using conventional resinous cements and etch-and-rinse adhesive (Adper Scotchbond and Relyx ARC) or Universal adhesive (Scotchbond Universal Plus and Relyx Universal). In the dental crown, after dentin impregnation with epoxi-based or bioceramic-based root canal AH Plus Jet and residues removal using dentin cleaning protocols, endodontic AH Plus Jet residues persistence, open dentinal tubules incidence, hybrid layer and tags formation will be eavalute by SEM. The bond strength and fracture mode between adhesive systems and coronal dentin will be evaluated respectively by microshear bond strength test, in universal test machine, and steriomicroscopy The adhesive system dentinal penetrability will be evaluated by confocal laser microscopy. In the dentin fiber space post, after root canal filling using one of the endodontic cements, dentin cleaning using protocols previouly described, space post preparation and final toilet with the same cleaning protocols, will also be performed the evaluation of endodontic AH Plus Jet residues persistence, open dentinal tubules counting, hybrid layer and tags formation by SEM analysis The bond strength and fracture mode between the resinous cementation systems and the radicular dentin of the thirds of the fiber space post will be evaluated by push-out test, in a universal test machine, and stereomiccorscopy, repectively. The dentin penetrability of cementation systems will be evaluated by confocal laser microscopy. The results obtained will be evaluated by means of appropiate statistical analyses, with a significance level of 5%. (AU)
