Abstract

To achieve the objectives and anticipated outcomes of this meeting, the event program has been meticulously crafted to maximize interaction among participants. Additionally, we aim to provide supplementary spaces beyond the conventional ones, fostering discussions on pertinent topics among both emerging and established researchers. These additional spaces will also serve as platforms for gaining insights into funding programs for continued studies, including postdoctoral opportunities and doctoral stays. Through these dedicated spaces, our goal is to establish enduring mentorship opportunities for early-career researchers and Ph.D. students, playing a fundamental role in fostering, stimulating, and creating long-term connections between the two regions. Given the hybrid format of the meeting, we have strategically scheduled the fifteen plenary lectures in the afternoon (Central European time). Utilizing the official channels of ICMAM-Latin America, these lectures will be streamed to enable participation from the Latin American, European, and Asian communities.Beyond the plenary conference, the event will have thematic sessions. While these thematic sessions are primarily dedicated to research, featuring oral or poster presentations from young researchers, they also serve as forums for initiating collaborations among participants and building valuable contact networks. Additionally, one of these sessions will be earmarked for inviting representatives from the private sector or other non-academic partners to discuss opportunities for cross-sector collaboration. As described in the project we plan 15 plenary Conferences during 5 days, 3 plenary per day (from 14h30 to 18h00) and 16 thematic sessions during 4 days, 4 per day (from 9h00 to 12h30). (AU)
